Best-selling CBD e-cigarettes in 2021?

What is a CBD e-cigarette?

CBD e-cigarettes refer to evaporating and inhaling CBD e-liquids through atomizing devices. The general CBD atomizer is mainly composed of a battery and a small oil cylinder. The battery is powered by a button or screw to supply power to the heating wire to generate heat, which drives the atomization and evaporation to produce a smoke effect. The basic principle of CBD e-cigarette and traditional e-cigarette nicotine e-cigarette is the same, the difference is that the effect of vaporization and atomization is different. Nicotine is not good for the health of smokers, but CBD e-liquids do not contain nicotine and are known in some foreign countries as an excellent way to try to quit smoking.

With the proven medical efficacy of CBD (cannabidiol), there has been a wave of “industrial hemp legalization” all over the world, and e-cigarettes have become one of the easiest and most effective ways to use CBD in Europe and the United States. The use of CBD through e-cigarettes has been shown to provide users with more bioavailability than “edible” or “oral” methods (CBD has a relatively high absorption rate).

Use CBD e-juice to quit smoking?

CBD can be extracted from industrial hemp (hemp) and processed into food, medicine or e-liquid for e-cigarettes. The most common effects of CBD are relaxation, pain relief, anxiety relief and mood improvement. At higher doses, CBD can make people feel tired or lethargic, but at lower doses, it can have the opposite effect of promoting alertness (sedation and relaxation), according to a study in rats.

A study by the Department of Clinical Psychopharmacology, University of London, UK, concluded that the non-psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis, CBD, is a potential treatment for nicotine addiction and warrants further study. Their experimental method, which uses a CBD inhaler (electronic cigarette vaporizer) when smokers want to smoke, found that CBD reduced the amount of cigarettes the experimenters smoked by nearly 40%. Apparently, CBD slows down the symptoms of smoking cessation: anxiety, chills, fatigue, headaches, irritability and stress, and so on, as does the same inhaled CBD e-liquid.

The cannabinoid CBD oil is known to reduce stress on the brain and central nervous system. The American Journal of Substance Abuse Research and Treatment (2015) states: “CBD is an exogenous cannabinoid that acts on a variety of neurotransmitting systems involved in addiction. It is a proven natural pain reliever and more Has anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety effects. Research has also shown that CBD itself has various therapeutic properties that can be used indirectly to treat addictive disorders, such as sensitivity to stress and neuroprotective effects. Most of the current research has Focuses on how CBD can get rid of opioid addiction, and CBD oil also has the advantage of no burning smoking.

CBD e-liquid not only acts as a cigarette replacement to help you quit smoking, but it substantially reduces neurological withdrawal symptoms when quitting long-term cravings.

Research and medical value of CBD

CBD does not have the psychoactive effects of THC, and its medical value is very high. Many studies have confirmed that CBD is used for different symptoms and has pharmacological effects such as antispasmodic, anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory and pain relief.

Treat epilepsy

Research by Brazilian scientists as early as 1973 showed that CBD actively reduced or prevented convulsions in rodents. This was also confirmed by another study conducted a year later, which showed that people with epilepsy who received 200-300mg of CBD per day had fewer seizures.

One of the most well-documented examples is that of a young girl named Charlotte Figi who suffers from Dravet’s syndrome (infantile severe myoclonic epilepsy), a rare disorder that does not respond well to common medications. Then, after she was treated with CBD medication, Charlotte lived a life of recovery, with her seizures drastically reducing from around 300 a week to two or three a month.

In June 2018, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Epidiolex, a CBD drug for the treatment of epilepsy in people 2 years and older. Epidiolex, the first FDA-approved CBD drug, significantly reduced the frequency of seizures in a double-blind study of 120 subjects .

Treat insomnia

One of the most common effects of CBD is mild drowsiness, especially when used in higher doses. A study conducted in the 1970s reported the sleep-inducing effects of CBD in rodents.

In people with insomnia, CBD has been shown to increase sleep time at doses of about 160mg. In non-insomniac patients, similar effects were observed at higher doses approaching 600 mg. In trace doses, CBD has been shown to promote alertness (sedation and relaxation) rather than cause drowsiness.

reduce anxiety and depression

Several studies have been conducted to show that CBD can be effective in treating anxiety disorders. Studies using MRI and single-photon emission computed tomography have confirmed the anxiolytic effects of CBD on the brain. In addition, CBD’s mood-regulating effects can also be used to treat depression, according to a study in rats, and researchers believe that CBD has the potential to treat other forms of anxiety, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

fight psychosis

A 1982 study showed that CBD could suppress symptoms associated with psychosis. Patients in South African psychiatric hospitals have been observed to experience fewer frequent psychotic episodes when treated with low levels of CBD. There is also some research showing that CBD can help reduce psychotic symptoms even in healthy individuals.

In 1995, a case study showed that CBD is also a safe and effective alternative treatment for schizophrenia. This leads researchers to believe that CBD can help reduce the effects of psychosis.

treat heart disease

Further research into the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of CBD has shown that it can prevent damage from cerebral ischemia, a type of heart disease that can lead to stroke. Other studies on rodents have also demonstrated the significant cardioprotective properties of CBD.

treat diabetes

The anti-inflammatory effects of CBD have led scientists to believe that it can be used as a treatment for type 1 diabetes, and there are also studies that “mice with diabetes symptoms improved after using CBD.” In addition, recent investigations have observed that CBD attenuates the effects of high glucose.

Mark J. Rosenfeld M.S., P.h.D, CEO of ISA Sciences, said: “CBD, unlike other existing diabetes medications, may actually inhibit, reverse and cure the disease.”

Ease the side effects of chemotherapy

The symptoms of nausea and vomiting after chemotherapy were actually the main treatment targets in early CBD clinical trials. By 1990, a survey showed that more than 44 percent of American Society of Clinical Oncology members recommended CBD for at least one chemotherapy patient, because studies in rats showed that CBD was equally effective in treating these symptoms.

Antioxidant and neuroprotective effects

A study in the late 1990s noted how CBD reduces hydroxide-induced oxidative damage, implying that CBD is a potent antioxidant and neuroprotective. Other studies that have been conducted have also shown that CBD has the potential to treat Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease (for details, see other related articles in this public account).

Anti-inflammatory effect

Multiple reports have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory effects of CBD in mouse experiments. The data emphasize that CBD can be an effective treatment for arthritis due to its immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory properties. It has also been found to be effective in treating sciatic nerve constriction.

Last year, many NBA stars also invested in the CBD industry, hoping that the NBA league would agree to use CBD as a substitute for traditional painkillers, so as to reduce the sequelae of athletes after taking painkillers.
