The life of the atomizing core determines the cost of using electronic cigarettes. Most of the finished atomizing cores cost about 20 yuan. 3. What factors affect the life of the atomizing core?
Whether it is a finished product or a self-made RBA, the life of the atomizing core is not fixed, and it will vary with the user’s usage habits. The same atomizer, the same atomizing core, some people may use it for half a month, while some people can only use it for three days. So what factors affect the life of the atomizer core?
A. Power. The atomizing core has a certain range of power that can be tolerated, which is usually marked on the outer casing of the atomizing core. For example, 0.25Ω, the recommended power is 25-65W, this mark means that the resistance value of the finished coil is 0.25Ω, and the official recommended power is 25W-65W. Users can find their favorite taste within this power range to use.
If the output power set by the user is too high, the high temperature generated by the coil will over-evaporate the e-liquid, and the surrounding cotton will burn the cotton before replenishing the e-liquid, resulting in a paste smell, affecting the taste and taste.
B, smoke oil. The biggest impact of e-liquid on the life of the atomizing core is “carbon deposition”. After the user receives it, it is best to remove the atomizing core first, and drip a small amount of e-liquid into the cotton around the guide oil hole and the coil to soak the cotton. This step is called “moistening the core”.
The purpose of this is to wet the cotton in advance so that the e-liquid can be absorbed more smoothly. Because there are a lot of fluff on the surface of the cotton fiber, in a dry state, there will be a “lotus leaf effect”, and the fine fluff on the surface forms a surface, and the oil droplets will slide on the fluff surface, making it difficult to enter the cotton fiber. Therefore, e-liquids with high VG content are often used with large smoke atomizers, such as drop oil atomizers. However, the oil guiding system of some finished oil storage and taste atomizers cannot cope with the high VG ratio of e-liquid, and will burn the atomizing core because the oil guiding speed cannot keep up. Therefore, the PG/VG ratio of e-liquid also affects the atomization. a factor in the lifetime of the core. However, nothing is absolute. Some e-liquids with a high VG ratio will be added with “deionized water” to improve fluidity and improve oil conductivity. This e-liquid is more suitable for use in finished oil storage and taste-type atomizers.
4. When should the atomizing core be replaced? Is it mushy?
There is no fixed replacement cycle for the atomizing core in actual use, and it can only be judged according to the user’s own experience whether the replacement cycle has been reached. You can judge by the following performances:
Judging by the change in the taste of e-liquid. During use, if the taste of the e-juice becomes worse, mixed with a paste smell (burned cotton), and the roar of the e-juice becomes stronger, and there is a feeling of “spicy throat”, then it is necessary to check whether the atomizing core has been Serious carbon deposits need to be replaced.
Observe the inside of the atomizing core. You can remove the oil tank and observe the inside of the atomizing core to see if the cotton around the coil is burnt, discolored and carbon deposited, and decide whether to replace it according to the situation. 5. Can the atomizing core be washed with water?
Some oil drop atomizers use fancy heating wire. Due to the complicated structure, it is more troublesome to make one time. Therefore, some players will remove the cotton and dry the coil after the first stage of use. After burning red, rinse the coil with tap water, and repeat this process. The process can remove the carbon deposits on the coil, and it is as smooth as new. After adjusting the heat evenly again, insert new cotton and it can be used normally.
In this way, care should be taken to prevent water from entering the host and damaging the equipment. Since tap water is also conductive, short circuits should also be avoided. This method has certain difficulties and is not recommended for beginners. Strictly speaking, the finished atomizing core can be washed with water, but it must be installed and used again when the inside and outside of the atomizing core are completely dry, otherwise there will be no smoke, fried oil, or even a short circuit.
The so-called cleaning of the atomizing core is actually the main purpose to wash off the carbon deposits on the surface of the coil. The finished atomizing core cannot remove the cotton dry-burning coil. The effect of cleaning the carbon deposits only by the action of water flow is very limited, and the taste becomes worse. Another factor – the charred cotton does not work, you can only change the atomizing core. So it doesn’t make sense.
